1.1 No apologies were received.
2.1 The Committee took evidence from Professor Beresford and Dr Potter, both representing Cardiff University.
2.2 Dr Potter agreed to provide the Committee with additional information.
3.1 The Committee took evidence from:
- Mr Buchanan representing the Road Haulage Association;
- Mr Gallagher and Mr Yarsley representing the Freight Transport Association; and
- Mr Smith representing the Rail Freight Group.
4.1 The Committee took evidence from:
- Mr Couper representing Associated British Ports and as Chair of the Welsh Ports Group;
- Captain Davies representing the Port of Holyhead and Stena Line Ports;
- Mr Jones and Ms Malloy representing Milford Haven Ports Group; and
- Mr Walsh representing Irish Ferries.
5.1 The Committee resolved to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting.
6.1 The Committee discussed the evidence it heard during the course of its proceedings today.
7.1 The Committee considered the latest draft of its report on the Great Repeal Bill White Paper.
7.2 The Committee agreed the report, subject to the making of amendments agreed during its consideration of the draft.
